Information Technology Officer

About the role

Join Med Surg Solutions to keep its IT systems running smoothly while supporting the technology needs of the business and employees across the GCC region. You will maintain hardware, software, networks and security systems, and provide day‑to‑day technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end‑users (hardware, software, network issues).
• Install, configure and maintain computers, printers and other IT equipment.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches and Wi‑Fi.
• Monitor system performance and ensure minimum downtime.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).
• Manage user accounts, licenses and security policies.
• Maintain and update IT systems, software and security patches.
• Troubleshoot system, network and application issues.
• Support ERP systems (Odoo knowledge is a plus).
• Maintain data backups and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Coordinate with vendors for IT support and procurement.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) and available to join immediately.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Odoo experience is a plus.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi).
• Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and IT security controls.
