Infrastructure and Cloud DevOps Director

About the role

The Infrastructure and Cloud DevOps Director will shape and execute the enterprise‑wide strategy for IT infrastructure and cloud operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure that the organization’s platforms are secure, resilient, cost‑effective and aligned with business and digital transformation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic plan for IT infrastructure, aligning it with application portfolios, network operations and technology road‑maps.
• Establish governance frameworks, standards and policies for infrastructure and cloud services to guarantee consistency and scalability.
• Coordinate cross‑functional initiatives with business units and shared services to deliver IT projects on time and within scope.
• Design operational models, roles and accountability structures that improve service quality and efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external technology partners, service providers and consultants, ensuring compliance with service‑level agreements.
• Lead continuous‑improvement programs across IT operations, fostering alignment with business and network strategies.
• Develop and enforce cloud governance, overseeing provider engagements, cost optimisation, performance monitoring and contractual compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience leading infrastructure and cloud DevOps initiatives in large enterprises.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive enterprise‑wide change.
