Innovation Consultant – Advisory & Program Management

About the role

The Innovation Consultant provides advisory support and expertise to drive business growth, increase organisational innovation maturity, and inform strategic decisions. Working within the Corporate Planning & Enablement group, the role helps design, evaluate and implement innovation initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver innovation advisory services to business units, identifying opportunities and aligning them with corporate strategy.
• Plan, execute and monitor innovation programmes, tracking KPIs, ROI and overall impact.
• Facilitate idea generation campaigns, manage idea repositories and prioritize concepts based on business value and feasibility.
• Conduct research, validation and proof‑of‑concept activities for new concepts, prototypes and MVPs.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, leading workshops and cross‑functional collaboration to address business challenges through innovation methodologies.
• Promote innovation best practices, support training sessions and contribute to building organisational innovation capability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess emerging concepts and market trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in managing innovation programmes or similar advisory roles.
• Proactive attitude with a passion for fostering a culture of innovation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with idea management tools and innovation databases.
• Knowledge of innovation methodologies, proof‑of‑concept and MVP development.
