Instrument Technician (Level VI) – Jubail

About the role

Tasnee is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician (Level VI) to join its Jubail operations. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrument equipment within a petrochemical environment, ensuring reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on all assigned instrument equipment.
• Issue, manage, and close work permits related to instrument activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument failures promptly.
• Update and close work orders in SAP.
• Assume lead‑technician duties when required.
• Follow HSE regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Review and improve preventive maintenance procedures.
• Calibrate hard communicators and transmitters.
• Conduct SIL testing and support PLC‑related tasks.

Required profile

• Diploma in instrumentation or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in petrochemical or oil & gas sectors.
• Strong technical and troubleshooting abilities.
• High attention to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver high‑quality results.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
