Integration Design Data Engineering Team Leader

About the role

The Integration Design Data Engineering Team Leader is accountable for defining and executing the bank’s data integration design strategy. The role involves setting goals, developing execution plans, and ensuring alignment with the broader Data Engineering and Enterprise Data‑as‑Asset strategies to support the bank’s vision.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and own data integration design policies, procedures and standards.
• Oversee day‑to‑day integration design activities across multiple projects and initiatives.
• Manage and grow a team of Integration Design Engineers, allocating resources and supporting their professional development.
• Design high‑throughput data ingestion and integration processes for platforms such as EDW, Big Data, and Operational Data Stores.
• Lead the creation of integration transformations, parsers and streaming solutions for Hadoop, NoSQL and MPP environments.
• Drive process improvement, automation and performance monitoring to enhance service quality.
• Participate in strategic committees, contribute to road‑maps and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Promote data as an enterprise asset and coach engineers on its business value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems or Computer Science (Master’s preferred).
• 6–8 years of experience with integration design tools, techniques and big‑data platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
