Intermediate Architecture Designer

About the role

SOM is seeking an Intermediate Architecture Designer to contribute to innovative projects in Riyadh. The role offers the chance to work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice and develop your design expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Develop specific portions of projects under the guidance of project leadership, producing diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, physical models and animations.
• Communicate design ideas internally through written, oral and visual presentations and collaborate with the project team to evaluate concepts.
• Apply an intermediate understanding of building materials, systems, codes and construction techniques to enrich design concepts and document work across all project phases.
• Manage time and workload to meet deadlines while sharing knowledge with less‑experienced staff.

Required profile

• Fluent in spoken and written Arabic.
• Professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience or equivalent knowledge.
• Professional licensure process in progress; LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Rhino.
• Experience with parametric and rendering software.
• Adobe Suite.
• Google Workspace.
