Intern - Patient Care (KSA)

About the role

The Intern – Patient Care supports Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the intern helps remove barriers to care, coordinates services, and promotes patient education and awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs, liaising with key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients according to workflow and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrollment and medication delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient files and electronic records, preparing reports on program performance.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.
• Perform administrative duties related to program operations and use Axios’ Patient Management System exclusively.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work (ideal).
• 0‑1 year experience in healthcare, scientific field, NGO, or customer service management.
• Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours (Sun‑Thurs).
• Strong adaptability, dependability, teamwork, and concern for quality.
