Intern QA Engineer

About the role

Tabby is looking for a motivated Intern QA Engineer to join its Process Engineering team in Risk and Credit. The internship involves real production tasks such as validating releases, investigating bugs, and monitoring automated workflows. You will work closely with engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to ensure the reliability of high‑load, security‑critical fintech systems.

Key responsibilities

• Run smoke and regression tests before workflow and system releases, maintain sign‑off checklists and track testing status.
• Reproduce and triage reported issues, inspect API calls, read logs and write detailed, reproducible bug reports.
• Monitor automated workflows in production, investigate failed runs and perform safe re‑runs under guidance.
• Execute, review and update test cases, keep test data and documentation current, and propose new test scenarios.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, system analysts and engineers to confirm expected behaviour and communicate findings in clear language.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (BSc/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Saudi national, able to work full‑time for six months starting autumn 2026.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and clear written English.

Required skills

• Basic scripting in Python or JavaScript.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads and status codes; experience with Postman.
• Fundamentals of QA: test case design, regression testing, bug lifecycle, severity and priority.
• Familiarity with webhooks, API keys, OAuth authentication flows.
• Exposure to workflow automation or low‑code platforms (Power Automate, Camunda, Zapier, n8n).
• Experience with issue trackers such as Jira or Linear and test management tools.
