International Purchasing Accountant

About the role

At Baytonia we believe that ambitious people create meaningful impact. We are looking for an International Purchasing Accountant to join our Accounting team and take ownership of accounting activities related to international purchasing and supplier transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process international purchasing transactions accurately.
• Review supplier invoices, purchase orders and related documents.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of purchasing and accounting documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Monitor payments to international suppliers and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Support account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with accounting documentation related to imports and international purchases.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and proactively follow up on pending transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with international purchasing, suppliers or import transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective English communication skills.
• Sense of ownership, accountability and teamwork.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
