IT Audit Consultant / Senior Consultant

About the role

Protiviti is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to lead IT audit and cybersecurity risk assessments for government and telecom clients across the Middle East. The role combines project planning, execution, and client relationship management to deliver high‑quality consulting engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop risk‑based IT consulting project plans and manage end‑to‑end audit engagements.
• Lead cybersecurity risk assessments and IT audits for large, complex organizations.
• Engage with IT managers and senior client stakeholders on standards such as ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT, and ISO 20000.
• Conduct opening and exit meetings, prepare and finalize consulting reports.
• Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Review project documentation and provide guidance to junior staff.
• Identify business development opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, or risk advisory, preferably with a Big 4 or comparable consulting firm.
• Strong understanding of business and IT processes across multiple industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Chartered Accountant qualification is a plus.
• Professional certifications: CISA, CISSP, and ITIL Expert are mandatory; additional ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or CCIE (Security) are advantageous.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent written and oral communication skills.
