About the role
The Head of Software Development (HoSD) leads the software and IT support infrastructure for Al Watania Poultry. Reporting to senior leadership, the HoSD shapes the strategic technology vision and ensures delivery of applications that serve the scientific community and public benefit.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage senior software developers and IT specialists.
- Develop and maintain applications such as SAP, SAGE, Patch Applications (Maintenance, Medical, E‑Recruitment, etc.) and Mirnah.
- Ensure delivery follows Agile processes and aligns with the company’s strategic technology direction.
- Monitor progress of software development activities and guarantee on‑time, quality delivery of projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years overall experience, with a background in technology/IT leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma; Saudi nationality required.
- Male gender as specified in the posting.
