IT Engineer – Infrastructure & Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Engineer to design, implement, maintain and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The role ensures stability, integrity and efficient operation of the systems that underpin core business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain hardware, software, networks and servers.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and minimise downtime.
• Manage network security, firewalls and data‑protection mechanisms.
• Provide timely technical support to end‑users and resolve IT issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation, policies and procedures.
• Perform regular backups and oversee disaster‑recovery plans.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and service delivery.
• Apply system upgrades, patches and introduce new technologies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies and security regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Windows, Linux or macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization, cloud services and cybersecurity best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
