IT Operations Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support our enterprise IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance of critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure in both on‑premises and cloud platforms.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using IaC tools.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability with enterprise‑grade monitoring and logging solutions.
• Manage virtualization and private‑cloud environments such as VMware or OpenStack.
• Perform troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and incident resolution.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration‑management best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, Security, and Application teams to ensure reliable operations.
• Maintain backup, disaster‑recovery, and high‑availability solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
• Prepare operational documentation, runbooks, and technical procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Operations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or SRE environments.

Required skills

• ELK Stack or Elasticsearch for log management and observability.
• Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code.
• VMware vCenter or OpenStack for virtualization.
• Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Shell scripting or Python for automation.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Load Balancing.
• Docker or Kubernetes.
• Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Prometheus, Grafana, or Zabbix for monitoring.
• Git and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• ITIL service‑management processes.
• Security hardening, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
