IT Project Specialist

About the role

The IT Project Specialist will support the planning, execution and delivery of IT projects, ensuring effective coordination, documentation, reporting and progress tracking. Working closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders, the role keeps activities on schedule, within scope and aligned with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans, schedules, work breakdown structures and resource allocations.
• Coordinate daily project activities, assign tasks, track progress and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain project documentation such as requirements, meeting minutes, action logs, RAID logs and change requests.
• Support project managers in preparing status reports, dashboards and presentations for leadership.
• Design, automate and manage reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Serve as the central point of contact for project communications across technical and business teams.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and follow‑ups to drive alignment and decision‑making.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of project components.
• Monitor adherence to governance frameworks (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid) and quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in an IT or telecommunications environment.
• Strong understanding of project governance, Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Saudi national preferred.
