IT Shift Technician

About the role

The IT Shift Technician will ensure the continuous operation of airport IT systems by providing end‑user support, performing preventive maintenance, and handling hardware and software issues across a range of airport technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for AOS equipment, airport operation systems (FIDS, TAMS, RMS, IB, CMS, CATS) and smart airport devices (TDAS, e‑gates, HHT).
• Troubleshoot user issues, replace damaged equipment, and install new IT assets on‑site.
• Execute daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance, including inspections of e‑gates, CATS workstations, FIDS clients, HHTs, and data‑center AC/servers.
• Maintain IT infrastructure: perform software updates, backups, security checks, and monitor system performance.
• Document installation and maintenance procedures, provide training to airport staff, and ensure compliance with data‑protection and cybersecurity regulations.
• Escalate complex problems to the IT Operations Duty Leader as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Fresh graduate up to 2 years of IT support experience.
• Saudi national.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Server and workstation hardware support.
• FIDS, TAMS, RMS, IB, CMS, CATS, TDAS, e‑gates, HHT operation.
• Data‑center AC monitoring and hardware maintenance.
• Software updates, backup procedures, security checks.
• Installation, upgrade and documentation of IT systems.
