IT Support Officer

About the role

The IT Support Officer provides first‑line technical assistance to business units, ensuring that hardware, software, and network services meet agreed Service Level Agreements. The role combines on‑site and remote support to keep the company's IT environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver support to business units in line with SLA commitments.
• Format, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops for new and existing users.
• Repair printers, scanners, and photocopiers before allocating them to third‑party services.
• Install and configure a wide range of software applications for both current and new users.
• Provide first‑line network and telecom infrastructure support, including cabling, point testing, and troubleshooting.
• Handle IT‑related projects assigned by the Support Manager and manage site‑specific tasks.
• Assist customers in repairing or replacing equipment as needed.
• Respond quickly to technical incidents to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Offer flexible technical support both physically on‑site and remotely across all business units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering IT support to multiple business units.
• Ability to work under pressure and resolve incidents promptly.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with users and other IT representatives.
