IT Technical Support Specialist

About the role

The IT Technical Support Specialist will provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to Alqotr employees in Riyadh. The role covers hardware, software, networking and specialised engineering applications, ensuring smooth operation of all IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, printers, Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams).
• Install, configure and update operating systems, antivirus software and PC hardware.
• Troubleshoot internet connectivity, LAN/Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP issues.
• Maintain records of IT assets, software licences and user access.
• Install, configure and support CCTV surveillance systems and PBX telephone systems.
• Install and troubleshoot engineering design software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Trimble.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior IT engineers when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in an IT support or help‑desk role.
• Ability to work under supervision, handle multiple requests and follow documented procedures.

Required skills

• Windows 11 and Microsoft Office installation and configuration.
• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams) administration.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/Wi‑Fi.
• PC maintenance, hardware troubleshooting and antivirus management.
• CCTV system configuration and maintenance.
• PBX telephone system programming and troubleshooting.
• Engineering software support: Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble.
