IT Technician – On‑site & Remote Support for Restaurants

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Technician/Engineer to deliver both on‑site and remote technical support across our restaurant outlets in Saudi Arabia. You will maintain a wide range of IT infrastructure, from POS systems to network equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line and second‑line support for hardware and software issues at all restaurant outlets.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops, servers, POS systems (e.g., Squirrel, Restroworks), KOT/KDS, printers and other peripherals.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and telephone connections; liaise with ISPs.
• Support CCTV, biometric devices, and access‑control solutions.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environments, including O‑365, D‑365, Azure AD, licensing, Conditional Access and Intune.
• Perform preventive maintenance, health checks and keep accurate documentation of assets and incidents.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, offering remote assistance via desktop tools or phone.
• Train store staff on POS and inventory applications and maintain hardware/software inventory.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, customer‑service oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple locations.
• Willingness to be on‑call during off‑hours, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with store staff and corporate IT.

Required skills

• POS systems (Squirrel, Restroworks) and related peripherals (KOT, KDS, printers).
• Windows desktop and server administration.
• Network fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls.
• CCTV, biometric and access‑control system support.
• Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, Conditional Access, Microsoft Intune.
• Hardware troubleshooting for servers, desktops, printers.
