Junior Architect

About the role

As a Junior Architect in Surbana Jurong’s Architecture team, you will support the creation of innovative and sustainable design solutions for a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Working alongside senior architects and engineers, you will gain exposure to the full design lifecycle from concept through construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing architectural designs, drawings, and presentation materials for all project phases.
• Support senior staff in developing design concepts, 3‑D visualisations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and interior design disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Participate in design reviews, ensuring compliance with standards, codes and client requirements.
• Attend site visits, design workshops and client meetings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognised university.
• 2‑5 years of architectural design experience, preferably in an international or multidisciplinary consultancy.
• Familiarity with regional design standards, building codes and sustainable design principles.
• Experience with concept design, detailed drawings and presentation preparation.
• Exposure to large‑scale mixed‑use, commercial or institutional projects is a plus.
