About the role

Canonical is looking for a Junior Product Manager to join its open‑source product management team. You will help shape the vision and strategy for Ubuntu‑based solutions that serve public cloud, data science, AI, IoT and other enterprise markets.

Key responsibilities

Define clear product vision and roadmap aligned with market demands.
Prioritise work effectively to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality features.
Collaborate with engineering, design and community teams to translate user needs into product specifications.
Participate in quarterly in‑person meetings to align on strategy and execution.

Required profile

Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Technical vision and enthusiasm for open‑source software.
Ability to work in a distributed, remote‑first environment.
