Junior Technical Accountant – Reinsurance

About the role

The Junior Technical Accountant – Reinsurance will join Nasco Arabia’s finance team in Jeddah, supporting the preparation, review and reconciliation of technical accounting records linked to reinsurance transactions. This full‑time, on‑site position offers exposure to financial statement preparation, reporting processes and month‑end/year‑end closing activities within a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements related to reinsurance activities.
• Support financial reporting processes and ensure accurate recording of premiums, claims and commissions.
• Reconcile technical accounting records and perform analytical reviews of accounts.
• Gather financial data from internal teams and contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing tasks.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong technical accounting knowledge specific to reinsurance.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting financial reporting.
• Solid analytical skills and a sound understanding of finance fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural setting while demonstrating integrity and professionalism.
