About the role

We are seeking a Finance Director for a joint‑venture listed group to lead the financial function of our overseas subsidiary. The role reports to the JV General Manager and the Group CFO and oversees a team of eight finance professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Full responsibility for financial accounting and analysis of the overseas operation, guiding the team to identify commercial issues and propose solutions.
• Coordinate with local tax authorities, banks and auditors under the guidance of the Group Finance Department.
• Improve and implement the eight core financial systems for overseas business.
• Manage and develop the local finance team following the Group’s N+2 management principle.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations and recommend risk‑mitigation measures.
• Review all economic contracts (except salary contracts) for tax and internal‑control compliance, providing legal‑risk advice.
• Prepare financial budgets, monitor execution, and deliver variance analysis with corrective actions.
• Optimize tax payments by leveraging local preferential policies.
• Assist in establishing cash‑management processes, develop financing plans, and oversee efficient use of funds.

Required profile

• Fluent in both Chinese and English.
• Experience in overseas finance or Middle‑East finance environments.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team of around eight members.
• Strong analytical skills to detect operational issues and devise solutions.
