Kitchen Commis 2 – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Jabal Omar Jumeirah Hotel in the Holy City of Mecca is seeking a motivated Kitchen Commis 2 to support its diverse culinary operations. This position works within a high‑end hospitality environment, preparing ingredients and assisting chefs across Mediterranean, Persian, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian menus.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, measure, mix and prepare meal ingredients, sauces and seasonings according to recipe specifications.
• Wash, peel, chop and portion vegetables, fruits and meats as required.
• Apply cutting, seasoning and marination techniques for various meats.
• Prepare salads, sauces and plated dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
• Follow established recipes and plating guides to ensure consistency.
• Maintain proper stock levels in refrigerators and freezers, documenting inventory and reporting low‑stock situations.
