Landside Modification & Minor Projects Engineer

About the role

The role is responsible for executing small‑scale maintenance and modification projects in the landside areas of Dammam Airport. The incumbent ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and with minimal impact on public areas while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders during budget approval and secure resources for landside projects.
• Oversee daily execution of projects, monitoring timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and security requirements.
• Coordinate with terminal management, parking services and other internal departments to align project schedules with operational needs.
• Monitor contractor performance, approve technical submittals and issue work permits.
• Review and approve contractor invoices against deliverables and payment terms.
• Manage scope, schedule or cost changes, applying Dammam Airport change‑management procedures and securing approvals.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, safety reports and progress updates.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead project close‑out activities, including warranties, performance bonds, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts.
• Identify and mitigate project risks to protect timelines and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0–4 years of experience in project management, preferably in airport environments.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
