Landside Operations Agent – Transport Planning & Dispatch

About the role

The Landside Operations Agent is responsible for planning, coordinating and dispatching daily transportation activities to ensure containers are moved safely, efficiently and on time. The role supports operational priorities, works closely with transport vendors, drivers and internal teams, and contributes to meeting key performance indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily transport movements and allocate trucks based on operational priorities.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, port, depot and warehouse activities.
• Monitor truck movements, ensure timely execution of transport orders and manage appointments.
• Communicate with transport vendors, drivers, terminals, depots and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve operational issues, escalate critical exceptions and ensure accurate system updates.
• Track daily performance, support KPI achievement and identify efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Solid experience in transportation, logistics, dispatching or landside operations.
• Good knowledge of port and container transportation operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems.
