LDAR Operator – Saudi National (Full‑time)

About the role

Aellia (formerly Intero – The Sniffers) is hiring LDAR Operators for projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. The role involves monitoring fugitive emission components at refineries, gas plants and petrochemical facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor fugitive emission components (valves, pumps, flanges, connectors) at refineries, gas plants and petrochemical facilities.
• Carry out leak detection using a TVA (EPA Method 21) and OGI cameras.
• Record and tag data accurately on handheld devices, following project procedures.
• Work safely in live plant environments and follow site HSE rules.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a diploma or higher in a technical, mechanical, chemical or environmental field.
• At least 1 year of LDAR experience preferred; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to walk long distances, climb ladders, work outdoors in hot industrial conditions and lift up to 23 kg.
• Valid Saudi driver’s license and basic English for field records.
• H2S or other safety certifications are a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with a TVA (Toxic Vapor Analyzer).
• Experience with OGI cameras.
