Lead AI Architect

About the role

Crayon Data (now Tangram.ai) is seeking a Senior Lead AI Architect to design and own secure, enterprise‑grade Generative AI and AI infrastructure platforms for highly regulated banking environments. You will collaborate with business, product, data science, engineering, infrastructure and client teams to turn business needs into scalable AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect enterprise‑grade GenAI, LLM, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI/ML platforms for on‑premise and air‑gapped deployments.
• Design GPU‑accelerated infrastructure using NVIDIA DGX, H100/B200, NVLink/NVSwitch.
• Build AI platforms on Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes with the NVIDIA GPU Operator.
• Integrate NVIDIA NIM, Triton Inference Server, DataRobot and graph databases such as Neo4j or ArangoDB.
• Define security, scalability, performance and data‑sovereignty standards for banking use cases.
• Provide technical leadership to data‑science, engineering and AI teams.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and drive adoption of solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, enterprise architecture or related infrastructure roles.
• 3+ years designing large‑scale GenAI, LLM or GPU‑accelerated solutions.
• Proven experience in highly regulated banking or financial services environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem‑solving and technical leadership abilities.
