Lead Architect – Metro Station Projects (PMC)

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Architect to join our team for a major metro project, focusing on station architecture. The role will lead architectural review, multidisciplinary coordination and project delivery within a Project Management Consultant (PMC) environment. The position is part of a bid submission and will commence upon project award and client approval.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural review and coordination for metro stations and associated facilities across the PMC scope.
• Review designs, drawings, specifications and material submissions for compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate architectural work with structural, civil, MEP, urban design and specialist systems teams.
• Monitor design development and construction progress, conduct site inspections and ensure quality and constructability.
• Support client and PMC leadership in technical reviews, decision‑making and design quality assurance.
• Manage RFIs, NCRs, change requests and technical queries related to the architectural scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience on major metro, rail or transportation infrastructure projects, especially station architecture.
• Previous work in a PMC, supervision consultancy, client‑side or multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, passenger environments and architectural detailing for complex public‑facing infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage design‑construction interfaces.
• GCC experience is mandatory; KSA experience is preferred.
