Lead Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Estimator to drive cost estimation activities for major oil and gas EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. The role involves leading the development of classified estimates, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and delivering accurate cost reports to senior management and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and management of classified estimates throughout project development stages.
• Develop and maintain estimate plans and cost breakdown structures using the WBS process.
• Prepare, review and validate cost estimate bases, including productivity factors, all‑in rates, material and construction costs.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather requirements for the TIC estimate and present findings to management.
• Mentor junior estimators and ensure best‑practice estimating procedures are followed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10–20 years of experience in project cost estimation for EPC oil and gas or pipeline projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Required skills

• WBS process for cost breakdown.
• Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Advantage).
• SAEP‑25 methodology.
• Productivity factor and all‑in rates calculations.
• Material and construction cost estimation.
