Lead, Financial Reporting

About the role

We are seeking a Lead, Financial Reporting to oversee finance operations for our Saudi Arabia entity. The role ensures accurate statutory and IFRS reporting, regulatory compliance and strong financial governance while supporting business growth and new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver monthly, quarterly and annual close for KSA with a D+3 target, preparing IFRS financial statements with SOCPA adjustments.
• Apply IFRS 9, 15 and 16, and maintain documentation of accounting positions.
• Prepare and support ZATCA filings (CIT, Zakat, VAT, WHT, CTDF) and SAMA regulatory returns, ensuring reconciliation with the financial statements.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, manage general ledger integrity and support provisioning and ECL calculations under IFRS 9.
• Coordinate external audits, provide audit‑ready financials and act as primary contact for auditors.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, segregation of duties and reporting processes.
• Support treasury, settlement reporting, intercompany and transfer‑pricing reporting.
• Drive process improvements, ERP (Oracle NetSuite) reporting automation and mentor junior finance team members.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Product and Operations to ensure finance readiness for new product launches.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in financial reporting, statutory reporting or external audit, preferably in fintech, banking or a Big 4 environment.
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or SOCPA) – qualified or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially 9, 15, 16) and SOCPA/local GAAP.
• Working knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (Zakat, CIT, VAT, WHT).
• Hands‑on experience preparing IFRS financial statements with local adjustments and month‑end close.
• Experience supporting statutory audits and regulatory submissions to ZATCA and SAMA.
