Lead Fraud Prevention Manager

About the role

Riyadh Air is seeking an experienced fraud prevention leader to protect revenue and enable secure, scalable digital operations. In this senior position you will oversee fraud prevention and chargeback management across all payment and transaction environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead fraud prevention and chargeback management activities, ensuring effective controls and rapid response to fraudulent activity.
• Manage a team of fraud analysts and specialists, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Oversee fraud monitoring, chargeback processes, and deliver actionable reporting and insights for decision‑making.
• Identify emerging fraud trends, strengthen prevention systems, and enhance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to investigate suspicious activity, manage chargeback risk, and support loss mitigation.
• Contribute to fraud strategy development, horizon scanning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in fraud prevention, fraud risk management, chargeback operations, or financial crime.
• Proven ability to manage fraud monitoring environments and investigate complex fraud cases.
• Experience leading teams responsible for fraud detection and loss prevention.
• Strong analytical capability and sound judgment in high‑risk scenarios.

Required skills

• Experience with fraud management systems and transaction monitoring.
• Knowledge of chargeback processes and risk assessment methodologies.
