Lead Maintenance Technician - Electrical

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician with strong electrical expertise to oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance across our solar manufacturing plant in Jeddah. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with team leadership to maximise equipment uptime and support production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities for solar manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC, drives, motor, automation, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime while minimising breakdowns and production downtime.
• Mentor and coordinate daily activities of maintenance technicians.
• Perform root‑cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, modifications and automation upgrades.
• Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, Production and Quality teams.
• Maintain compliance with LOTO, safety procedures, TPM, 5S and maintenance standards.
• Manage maintenance records, spare‑parts requirements and CMMS reporting.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electro‑Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Proven leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work shifts and provide emergency maintenance support.
