Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist – Women’s First Team

About the role

The Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist will oversee the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injured players in the Women’s First Team at Al-Qadsiah Club. This role blends clinic‑based physiotherapy with on‑pitch rehabilitation to ensure safe and effective return to training and competition.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physiotherapy assessments, diagnose injuries and deliver treatment plans for injured players.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programmes aligned with long‑term athlete development.
• Manage structured return‑to‑play pathways and maintain accurate medical records.
• Plan and deliver progressive pitch‑based rehabilitation sessions that integrate physical, technical and football‑specific components.
• Collaborate with strength & conditioning, sports science, coaching and medical staff to monitor progress and determine readiness for competition.
• Support team training sessions, assist with injury‑prevention strategies and adjust training loads for returning players.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of rehabilitation systems and a best‑practice medical culture.
