Learning & Development Specialist

About the role

Ektis is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to design, build, and deliver its learning agenda. You will work closely with the HR team and business leaders to translate strategy into practical learning experiences that enhance capability across the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design and build of Ektis's L&D programmes, turning frameworks into structured learning experiences.
• Develop grade‑level learning pathways with clear capability expectations and progression milestones.
• Build and continuously improve the onboarding experience to ensure new joiners become productive and culturally embedded quickly.
• Design, facilitate, and follow‑up on leadership development programmes.
• Establish and run a mentorship programme with clear structure, matching logic, and accountability mechanisms.
• Curate and manage the learning model, balancing mandatory firm‑wide learning with individual development channels and training budgets.
• Partner with managers to support skill assessments, probation insights, and continuous feedback loops.
• Source and manage external learning vendors and platforms where relevant.
• Track learning engagement, programme effectiveness, and development outcomes, using data to drive improvements.
• Act as the operational backbone of L&D, keeping the agenda moving without needing to be chased.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in L&D, talent development, or organisational learning with demonstrable programme ownership.
• Background in consulting, professional services, or a similarly fast‑paced, intellectually demanding environment.
• Proven track record of building content and programmes from scratch.
• Experience working in or with organisations across the Middle East and strong regional cultural awareness.
