Lecturer / Professor in Accounting & Finance (Various Ranks)

About the role

The University of Prince Murgin is seeking qualified faculty members for its Accounting & Finance Department in the College of Business and Tourism. Positions are available at multiple academic ranks, from Lecturer to Full Professor, to support teaching, research, and student mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and assess undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and finance.
• Maintain documentation required for program accreditation.
• Supervise senior research projects, theses, and undergraduate research initiatives.
• Advise assigned students on academic plans, registration, and progress monitoring.
• Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and continuous improvement.
• Engage in scholarly research and publish findings in relevant journals.
• Supervise internship students when assigned.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting for Lecturer positions.
• Ph.D. in Accounting for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and research.

Required skills

• Proficiency in academic English communication.
• Ability to develop and deliver curriculum content.
• Research methodology and scholarly writing skills.
