Legal Affairs Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Legal Affairs Manager to lead our legal, litigation, contract, governance and regulatory advisory functions. The role safeguards the company's rights before courts, governmental and regulatory bodies while providing strategic legal counsel to senior management and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and approve legal memoranda, statements of claim and court submissions.
• Represent the company before Sharia courts, judicial committees and quasi‑judicial authorities.
• Monitor all litigation cases and manage them through to final resolution.
• Oversee drafting, review, negotiation and approval of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Identify legal risks in contracts and business transactions and advise senior management.
• Provide strategic legal advice to all departments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead internal investigations in line with approved legal procedures.
• Organise Board of Directors activities, including agendas, minutes, resolutions and official documentation.
• Follow up on Board decisions to ensure legal and governance alignment.
• Develop and mentor the legal team, delivering guidance and training.
• Prepare periodic reports on legal cases, department performance, risks and recommendations.
• Contribute to internal policies and procedures related to legal compliance and corporate governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Regulations or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed to practice law by the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia.
• Minimum 7 years of legal affairs experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience representing companies before Sharia courts and quasi‑judicial bodies.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Companies Law, Labor Law, Civil Procedure, Consumer Protection and Anti‑Commercial Fraud Law.
