Lifeguard – Full‑time at Ummahat Islands, Saudi Arabia

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to join our resort team on Ummahat Islands, Red Sea. The successful candidate will ensure the safety of guests in the swimming areas while promoting a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and intervene using appropriate rescue techniques when assistance is needed.
• Observe the pool area for hazardous conditions, unsafe activities, or guests in distress.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations and report any violations.
• Provide first‑aid assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, including washing, mopping, and handling towels according to company procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, ensure a professional appearance, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and respond promptly to any issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior lifeguarding experience required.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Any additional certifications required by local Saudi Arabian authorities.
