About the role
Join the EDITION team in Jeddah as a Lifeguard, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests at the resort’s swimming facilities. You will be the first line of defense, using rescue techniques and promoting a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere for all visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor swimmers, identify distress, and perform rescue operations using appropriate techniques.
- Enforce pool rules, report unsafe conditions, and assist guests with disabilities.
- Provide first‑aid care until emergency services arrive and document incidents.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck, towels, and surrounding areas.
- Inspect equipment for defects, lift and move pool‑related items up to 50 lb (assisted beyond 75 lb), and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Welcome guests, ensure professional appearance, and support co‑workers with respect.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior lifeguard experience required.
- Ability to work full‑time on‑site and respond promptly to safety situations.
