Lighting Business Development Consultant

About the role

Ideolux is looking for a passionate Business Development Consultant to grow its LED lighting presence in Riyadh and across Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on building relationships with architects, contractors, developers and government entities to drive project‑based sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with architects, consultants, contractors, developers and government entities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers in the architecture and construction sectors.
• Promote Ideolux’s LED product portfolio and lighting design solutions for commercial, infrastructure and hospitality projects.
• Conduct presentations, project briefings and technical discussions with clients.
• Monitor project pipelines, tender opportunities and pre‑qualification processes.
• Collaborate with internal lighting design and technical support teams to create custom proposals and quotations.
• Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity and upcoming projects in Riyadh and surrounding regions.
• Represent Ideolux at local trade shows, exhibitions and networking events.
• Prepare monthly reports on leads, progress and business forecasts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business or a related field.
• 4–6 years of business development or sales experience in the lighting, construction or architectural industry within Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of the Riyadh and Central KSA market and existing networks with design consultants, MEP contractors or government entities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently or with remote teams.
• Valid Saudi driving licence preferred.
