Line Cook – Hospital Kitchen

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our hospital kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for patients and staff while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Bake, roast, broil, and steam fish, chicken, vegetables, and other menu items.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to established recipes.
- Determine portion sizes and quantities to be cooked.
- Collaborate with dietitians to prepare modified diets.
- Assist in menu planning in consultation with the head chef.
- Prepare soups, main courses, rice, vegetables, and salads for patients and the cafeteria.
- Chop, peel, cut, and dice vegetables, meat, chicken, and fish.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and work area at all times.
Required profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital, hotel, or high‑volume kitchen.
- Food safety/hygiene certification is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
