Local Content Governance Specialist (Procurement & Supply Chain)

About the role

The Local Content Governance Specialist will support Procurement and Supply Chain activities by embedding Saudi Arabia local content requirements into all relevant processes. The role works closely with internal teams and government entities to ensure compliance with KSA regulations, including the Local Content and Government Procurement Act (LCGPA) and the In‑Kingdom Total Value Added (IKTVA) program.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate local content requirements into Procurement & Supply Chain processes.
• Develop, maintain and enforce local content governance policies, procedures and controls.
• Monitor supplier and procurement compliance with local content obligations.
• Track and report local content performance across procurement and supply‑chain activities.
• Support supplier localization and local sourcing initiatives.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal and other relevant teams.
• Assist in audits, certifications and compliance reviews related to local content.
• Provide advisory support on local content requirements and procurement governance.
• Monitor changes in KSA local content regulations and assess impact on operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Local Content, Governance or Compliance.
• Strong understanding of KSA local content regulations and procurement laws.
• Experience with LCGPA, IKTVA, supplier localization or local sourcing is highly preferred.
• Background in procurement governance, supplier management or supply‑chain compliance.
• Experience working with government entities or public‑sector organisations is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Public Policy or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
• Willingness to be based in Madinah, KSA.
