Logistics Assistant – Frontline Crew Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Assistant to lead a frontline logistics crew on one of our giga projects in Riyadh. The role involves coordinating material movement, site access, housekeeping and supporting site operations safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Brief the crew, allocate tasks and ensure tools, PPE and permits are ready.
• Supervise unloading, internal transport, distribution, stacking, protection and removal of materials and waste.
• Coordinate banksmen, flagmen, helpers and access control around deliveries and mobile plant.
• Maintain clear roads, walkways, emergency routes, lay‑down areas and loading zones.
• Check lifting accessories and manual‑handling arrangements, reporting defects immediately.
• Verify attendance, productivity, housekeeping and completion of assigned tasks.
• Escalate clashes, unsafe conditions, damaged materials, access restrictions and resource needs.
• Participate in toolbox talks, inspections and incident or near‑miss reviews.

Required profile

• Secondary education or relevant vocational training.
• Minimum 4 years of construction logistics experience, including at least 1 year leading a small crew.
• Training in banksman or flagman duties, manual handling and basic lifting safety is preferred.
• Ability to read simple site plans, delivery schedules and safety instructions.
