Logistics & IOR/EOR Manager - Server Hardware

About the role

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Logistics & IOR/EOR Manager to lead end‑to‑end logistics operations for high‑value server hardware across the Middle East, primarily in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. The role ensures smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of hardware while maintaining strict compliance with import and export regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of server hardware depots in Saudi Arabia and Dubai, including receipt, inventory control, and distribution.
• Manage Importer of Record (IOR) and Exporter of Record (EOR) responsibilities, ensuring full compliance with local customs, trade laws, and licensing requirements.
• Prepare and maintain all customs documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
• Plan and execute international shipping, coordinating with global logistics partners to optimize routes, timelines, and costs.
• Handle special shipping needs, including temperature‑controlled and shock‑protected packaging.
• Obtain and renew permits, licenses, and certifications required for moving IT infrastructure into regulated markets.
• Serve as the primary contact for import/export matters, collaborating with service teams, customers, and global logistics groups.
• Proactively manage risks, resolve shipment delays, and maintain contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted hardware supply.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or import/export management, preferably within IT or server hardware.
• Proven track record handling IOR/EOR responsibilities and customs compliance in the Middle East.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
