Logistics Operations Manager – Refrigerated Transport

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Operations Manager to lead our refrigerated transport division in Jeddah. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the cold chain while ensuring efficient, on‑time delivery of temperature‑sensitive goods.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the refrigerated fleet and associated logistics activities.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that improve efficiency, service levels, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, health, and safety regulations, focusing on cold‑chain integrity.
• Oversee route planning, vehicle scheduling, and driver management for optimal resource use.
• Monitor fleet performance and coordinate maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, and third‑party logistics partners.
• Analyse operational data, generate performance reports, and recommend improvements.
• Provide leadership, training, and development for the logistics team.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in logistics or supply chain, specifically in refrigerated or cold‑chain transport.
• In‑depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian logistics regulations and fleet management.
• Strong leadership, team‑management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic fluency is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics management software.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
