Logistics Operations Manager – Refrigerated Transport

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead the refrigerated transport division of a leading logistics organisation in Jeddah. The role oversees cold‑chain logistics, ensuring temperature‑sensitive goods are moved safely, on time and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations of the refrigerated transport fleet and related logistics activities.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency, service levels and reduce costs.
• Ensure strict compliance with transportation, health and safety regulations, maintaining cold‑chain integrity.
• Oversee route planning, vehicle scheduling and driver management for optimal resource utilisation.
• Monitor fleet performance and maintenance, coordinating repairs to minimise downtime.
• Manage relationships with clients, suppliers and third‑party logistics partners.
• Analyse operational data and performance metrics, preparing regular reports for senior management.
• Provide leadership, training and development for the logistics team.

Required profile

• Proven senior logistics or supply chain experience, specifically in refrigerated or cold‑chain transport.
• In‑depth knowledge of logistics operations, fleet management and Saudi Arabian regulatory landscape.
• Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Arabic fluency is a plus.
