Logistics Specialist – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

About the role

3M is seeking a Logistics Specialist to manage import activities and ensure smooth inbound transportation in Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with transport providers, customs brokers, and internal teams to guarantee compliance, cost‑effectiveness, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments from ports/airports to warehouses or customer sites.
• Prepare and submit import documentation such as invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, BOE, permits, and Saber certificates.
• Manage customs clearance to minimize delays, penalties, and demurrage costs.
• Monitor shipment schedules, transit milestones, and handoffs for end‑to‑end visibility.
• Communicate shipment status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Track transporter performance using metrics like on‑time delivery and cost efficiency.
• Review and approve freight invoices and maintain logistics reports.

Required profile

• Saudi national with a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in import, customs clearance, logistics, or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and import documentation.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with a valid driving license.
