Machine Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves operating production equipment, monitoring asset conditions, and ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality output in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned production machines according to Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.
• Monitor equipment status and real‑time condition data to prioritize maintenance and minimise downtime.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing tools such as Just‑In‑Time, 5S, SMED, PDCA and Six Sigma to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to manage spare parts, tools and routine upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and internal policies.
• Contribute to production efficiency by generating required output with optimal resource use.

Required profile

• Understanding of manufacturing principles and ability to work in a structured, safety‑focused environment.
• Good communication skills for clear reporting and teamwork.
• Organisational ability to plan work and meet short‑ and long‑term production targets.

• Lean Manufacturing methodologies (JIT, 5S, SMED, PDCA).
• Six Sigma concepts.
