Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator supports the production line by ensuring product quality, maintaining equipment cleanliness, and handling raw materials. This role works closely with the Quality Inspector and production team to meet finished‑goods specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure product conformity with specifications.
• Maintain line cleanliness during shifts and at month‑end.
• Complete and submit daily production reports to the Production Team Leader.
• Set up the machine, perform size changes, and handle raw material transfers.
• Communicate any machine issues to the Lead Operator and Line Setter.
• Keep pallets, waste bins, trolleys and raw material in their designated locations.
• Follow safety and environmental instructions and participate in HSE toolbox talks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Flexible Packaging and Cutting Technology.
• Minimum two years of hands‑on experience in the cutting field.
• Good physical health and ability to work under demanding conditions, including hot weather.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in challenging environments.

Required skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of the cutting process.
• Strong understanding of the printing process.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
