Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will monitor, analyse and report on asset performance at NAPCO, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime. You will work closely with operations and engineering teams to schedule maintenance, diagnose faults and implement long‑term solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and interpret raw data from multiple sources, evaluate results and produce reports to support decision‑making.
• Observe asset condition, prioritize maintenance activities and optimise resource allocation to reduce cost and downtime.
• Identify, isolate and rectify faults, applying Root Cause Analysis where required to prevent recurrence.
• Operate NAPCO’s Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and interface with related enterprise systems.
• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance based on running hours, dates or condition‑monitoring indicators.
• Monitor the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
• Inspect and test tools, spare parts, raw materials and finished products using laboratory equipment, documenting deviations.
• Apply local, regional and international health‑ and‑safety regulations and internal procedures.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Good understanding of industrial machinery, spare parts and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in a business context.
