Management Consultant – Remote

About the role

Pulse is looking for experienced management consultants to help shape AI research projects. You will translate proven consulting workflows into structured tasks, evaluation criteria, and reference materials that improve AI reasoning and decision‑making. The position is fully remote and ideal for professionals with at least two years of consulting experience who thrive in asynchronous collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Decompose consulting processes—problem structuring, hypothesis development, analysis, and synthesis—into clear task specifications and evaluation rubrics.
• Review, evaluate, and benchmark AI‑generated outputs such as market analyses, strategic recommendations, and presentation‑style deliverables.
• Create high‑quality reference examples (issue trees, analytical frameworks, financial analyses, slide content) that meet professional consulting standards.
• Identify gaps, weak assumptions, and failure modes in AI outputs and provide structured guidance for improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience at top‑tier or boutique management consulting firms.
• Strong expertise in hypothesis‑driven problem solving, market sizing, financial modeling, and executive‑level synthesis.
• Excellent written communication skills and comfort working in an asynchronous, remote environment.
• Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week on a deliverable‑driven schedule.
